Members of the Knight Commission will provide an overview of their groundbreaking recommendations for a new Division I financial framework to “Connect Athletics Revenues with the Educational Model of College Sports” (C.A.R.E. Model), a leading reform proposal for the next phase of Division I transformation. Commission members and other college sports leaders will discuss reforms and principles for changing division governance structures to prioritize athlete representation, gender equity, and athlete health and safety.
The Forum will be held in-person at the NCAA Convention at The Westin Hotel in Capitol Ballroom III, and virtual attendees can participate via Zoom. Coffee, tea and pastries will be available for those who attend in-person.
