Protecting Collegiate Olympic Sports
– An Interactive Session on What Comes Next –
This 60–minute session will engage in-person and virtual attendees on proposed solutions to protect collegiate Olympic sports and broad-based opportunities from cutbacks in the new era of Division I athletics. Attendees must have mobile phone during session to participate in optional polling. Proposed solutions include ideas shared with the Knight Commission in collaboration with USOPC, collegiate coaches’ associations, Olympic and college athletes, athletics administrators, and policymakers.
