Director, Player Engagement, Los Angeles Rams
Jacques McClendon is Director of Player Engagement for the Los Angeles Rams, following a seven-year career as an offensive lineman in the NFL. McClendon is responsible for assisting players with the transition to professional football and developing off-the-field success programs and activities. McClendon also assists with the scouting process and other collaborative administrative duties for the Rams. His role allows him to collaborate with every department within the organization. He also serves on the advisory board of the Inclusion and Diversity Council for the Rams.
McClendon serves on the Chairman’s Forum for Unify Credit Union. He is a standing member of the newly formed Pro Sports Assembly and BSP SoCal.
McClendon was a fourth-round selection (No. 129 overall) of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2010 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins during his professional playing career. A four-year letterman at the University of Tennessee, McClendon was an Academic All-SEC choice and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and master’s degree in Sports Management, both from Tennessee. He holds an Athlete Development Professional Certificate from the Wharton School at UPenn.
